Under limited supervision, develops and implements corporate marketing plans to optimize sales and profit for the organization. Communicates marketing support programs to internal and external staff to ensure programs are executed in a timely manner. Develops and assists in pricing recommendations, advertising, merchandising and product improvement plans.

Are you a Business Architect, or interested in becoming one? We have an opportunity to be a part of building a new Community of Practice for Business Architecture at FedEx. This Marketing team will work with IT and Operations Business Architects to identify and define value streams and capabilities for the enterprise. Our community follows the Business Architecture Guild BIZBOK guidelines; training will be provided toward certification.
Work within an Architecture Agile Release team to develop BIZBOK artifacts
Provide Business Architecture consulting support to product development initiatives
Represent the customer view of Business Architecture across the enterprise
Primary domicile location is Memphis, TN; however, remote locations may be considered.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Considered a Plus:
Strong business acumen; makes sound decisions based on customer, market and the business (at the enterprise level)
Broad understanding of product & services portfolio strategies
Able to synthesize information from a broad range of sources and develop clear recommendations
Able to translate business requests into capabilities; breaks down initiatives into core services
Able to create a vision and an actionable plan to execute over time (road-map, backlog and iterative plans)
Business modeling, customer experience modeling and/or use case development
Clear communication of complex ideas and ability to build consensus across multiple stakeholders
Project management experience
Experience with product development processes
Experience with Agile development techniques would be a plus
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in marketing, communications or related business discipline.
Five (5) years work experience in marketing, sales, sales administration or related discipline.
Demonstrated knowledge of marketing disciplines and information analysis.
Demonstrated experience in leading major corporate initiatives.
Experience in database marketing, telemarketing, promotions, pricing and financial analysis.
Strong human relations, communication, organizational and analytical skills.
