The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference seeks qualified candidates to fill the position of Director of Multimedia/Marketing Coordinator.The position will report directly to the Commissioner and/or Senior Associate Commissioner.The Director of Multimedia/Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the overall management of marketing and promotional activities of the conference, its 16 sponsored sports/15 athletic championships and 13 member institutions.The position will serve as the liaison to the athletic marketing staffs. Candidates must be self-motivated, creative, hard-working and a team player.Must possess a positive attitude and be able to multitask efficiently and effectively.
1.Must possess a Bachelor’s degree (required).
2.Must have a minimum amount of experience in multimedia, marketing, and/or athletic administration.
3.Direct, coordinate and implement sports promotions activities to achieve maximum ticket sales for all MEAC championships and the annual basketball tournament, including ticket books and individual ticket sales plans; direct and coordinate ticket sales campaigns, and group sales.
4.Prepare and implement marketing programs for the MEAC.
5.Create and implement marketing programs for all MEAC championships including developing market profiles, identifying prospects, creating promotions, and preparing collateral materials.
6.Perform all facets of ordering tickets for the basketball tournament; coordinate ticket distribution with outside agencies and ensure compliance with corporate partnership contracts.
7.Liaison to MEAC Marketing Directors.
8.Assist with activating Corporate Partner fulfillments and deliverables.
9.Maintain marketing, fan and website databases.
10.Update and manage conference athletic and social media websites.
11.Assist with maximizing the conferences social media channels.
12.Acquire and be responsible for ensuring member institutions submit athletic and institutional commercial inventory.
13.Plan and execute social media marketing campaigns.
14.Monitor the conferences social media channels for appropriate use both internally and externally.
15.Produce year-end highlight videos for each sport/championship.
16.Produce highlights of games (pulling from live streams being produced) for distribution.
17.Produce marketing/promotional videos/graphics for website and video boards.
18.Produce high quality and creative video segments for potential and corporate partner productions.
19.Produce features for the conference’s websites and social media websites.
20.Produce graphics to enhance the conference’s brand for use on conference streams and athletic events.
21.Serve as the multimedia contact to the conference’s web hosting company for MEACSports.com.
22.Attend MEAC sports championships, if necessary.
23.Working knowledge of computer applications necessary to execute daily responsibilities.
24.Must be able to work weekends/evenings and travel.
25.Ability to communicate accurately and effectively, both internally and externally.
26.Must be able to multitask efficiently and effectively.
27.Any additional duties as assigned by the Commissioner and/or Senior Associate Commissioner.
