The Marketing Manger is responsible for planning and implementing shopping center marketing, community and public relations programs at the Downtown at the Gardens. Marketing strategies are focused on driving traffic, supporting and increasing retailer sales and engaging the communities to enhance property value. In addition, this position provides support for special projects and needs under the direction of the Director of Shopping Center Marketing.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 1.Responsible for the oversight, coordination and execution of marketing business plans and programs for Downtown at the Gardens in conjunction with the property management team. 2.Responsible for the management of marketing funds, including budget preparation, negotiating to maximize spend and adjusting to account for changes in income. 3.Strategically plan fresh, new events to engage the community and drive traffic to the shopping center. Work with community partners and non-profits in the area to enhance current and potential events. 4.Execute all on-site events from the planning stages to event day to include all advertising, community partnerships, logistics, permitting and success metrics. 5.Responsible for contracting and managing personnel to support the execution of marketing programs including training, monitoring and addressing issues 6.Collaborates with Corporate marketing team to create all ad concepts to include social media, website, digital and print advertising. 7.Partners with the specialty leasing, property management and other team members to support ancillary revenue goals. 8.Create and manage all content for the website (WordPress), print/digital ad campaigns, on-site signage and email campaigns (MailChimp). 9.Build strong relationships with current and potential tenants to understand their business and create marketing opportunities on-site to drive traffic to their store. Connect and educate tenants on cross promoting at the center and develop marketing programs around these cross promotions. 10.Work closely with the leasing team to fulfill all marketing requests at a B2B level and B2C level. 11.Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education, Training and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or journalism with 8+ plus years of related marketing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS Nature of work requires an ability to analyze, communicate and exchange information, collect, compile and prepare work documents, and operate standard business office equipment. Ability to lift and transport marketing and presentation materials or equipment up to 50 pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS Work performed in a general office environment. Will require availability for extended hours during peak/seasonal periods. Availability for nights and weekends to attend all marketing events.
