Able to organize, write and edit copy to be placed across multiple mediums, co-manage our creative agency and supervise an Oboz graphic designer. Location: Bozeman, Montana
Drives the development, implementation and overall execution of strategic marketing plans for all OBOZ product lines so that current customers are retained and new customers are acquired. Enhances brand and corporate identity.
Coordinate with sales and senior leadership to ensure the viability of current products.
Co-manage outside service providers and vendors such as marketing and creative agencies, public relations, web and graphic development providers, e-commerce and advertising specialists and market research consultants.
In coordination with the VP of Sales & Marketing, develop, design and install a marketing strategy that meets company objectives.
Maintain and oversee a sound marketing budget.
Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales initiatives.
Direct the creation of all marketing materials.
Organize the planning and implementation of promotional campaigns
Design a lead generation system, measuring result effectiveness.
Oversee brand management and integrity of brand identity.
Establish, maintain and be accountable for social media presence, public relations and digital marketing platforms.
Be ultimately accountable for all marketing projects including content, budgets, timelines and tactics.
Evaluate effectiveness of marketing events and efforts. Report findings to senior leadership.
Identify trends, create forecasts and anticipate challenges.
Support, direct, guide and coach the Marketing Specialist (Visual & Physical Assets).
Co-create and establish goals for this role and track/measure performance against those metrics.
Make recommendations for any needed staff resources.
Coordinate and collaborate with outside consultants or project partners.
Track, measure and communicate budget variances.
Conduct analyses and develop pricing sheets.
Coordinate the collateral, signage, giveaways, and other materials required at tradeshows, assuring that all materials are produced and shipped in a timely manner.
Be present at tradeshows and select consumer events to support product launches and bolster OBOZ brand.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in marketing, project management, account management or promotions. Previous supervisory experience, preferred. Outdoor industry experience, especially in footwear strongly valued.

Working Conditions: Majority of work occurs in an office environment onsite or elsewhere. Time will be spent sitting, working on a computer monitor, and talking via phone. Travel will be required (40%).
