Direct comprehensive external communication for the Ticketing & Engagement Department that generates over $70M annually, including ticket sales & donations, marketing and fan engagement. Lead creation of annual strategy plans across ticket sports to increase revenue, customer and donor engagement, lead generation and brand visibility. Design and content development of marketing collateral pieces, email messages, website content, donor and ticket holder letters/invoices, sport ticket and event information. Develop segmentation and research analytics to best connect with constituents.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field required; plus three (3) of marketing/communication and copywriting experience is required. Work history will show excellent written and verbal communication skills; creative and graphic design skills; strong customer service skills; computer skills to include: working knowledge of HTML, Microsoft Office and Adobe design suite. Ideal candidate will have supervisory experience. Additional experience working within or for a Marketing/Advertising department/agency or Power 5 (Big Ten, Big 12, ACC, SEC, or PAC) institution preferred. Advanced skills in Salesforce or other comparable CRM software, Experience with Content Management Systems such as WordPress, Joomla, Titan or other related backend publishing tools. Attention to detail and accuracy is critical for position.
