The Director of Communications and Marketing is a senior level administrator who will lead efforts that support and strengthen the school’s message, presence and engagement within the internal and external communities. This includes oversight of communications, marketing, advertising and public relations across all campuses and constituencies. The Director of Communications and Marketing is responsible for enhancing relationships that contribute to the school’s success.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, who demonstrates leadership experience in developing and executing strategic messaging plans and works well both collaboratively and independently. A professional attitude and the ability to hold information in confidence are critical. Experience with web site management and a range of social media platforms are a must. A Bachelor’s degree plus five years of experience working in communications, preferably in a school environment, plus familiarity with Waldorf education are required.
Additional Salary Information: Salary Depends on experience. The position is benefits eligible.
