The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving operational excellence in the Marketing Team, aligning marketing with business development, client-facing, and internal operations. Your leadership of the Marketing Team will encourage cross-functional interaction with other IBTS teams.
The Marketing Program Director will create, modify, and implement the company's marketing strategy, ensuring brand integrity and consistency, managing marketing assets, and ensuring measured results. You will oversee the identification of key differentiators and develop positioning and messaging, and a strategic plan for communicating that messaging.
You will collaborate with the Marketing Research Team to measure the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts.
Design and implement marketing program strategies and plans that are consistent with the company's overall strategic plans, objectives and goals.
Identify opportunities for continual improvements and refinements in support of long term company-wide marketing initiatives and plans.
Expand social media approaches, thought leadership opportunities and other means of collaboration for employee and client engagements including creating case studies, webinars, and other news-worthy deliverables.
Lead and collaborate with each division director to develop, implement, and modify the marketing plans suitable for their market, competition, and services. Provide quarterly update of marketing services and support provided to each division.
Provide vision and leadership in best practices for marketing policies and procedure.
Collaborate with Market Research Team to measure the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts.
Oversee the tracking and performance against a marketing budget developed in collaboration with the Chief Marketing & Development Officer.
Provide leadership in talent acquisition, talent retention/management and development of marketing staff.
Serve as the subject matter expert in leading and providing training of marketing and technical staff on marketing-related issues.
Lead the coordination of marketing support and resources to both internal- and client-facing divisions.
Submit weekly, monthly, quarterly reports and participate in quarterly assessment of the development efforts by each division, make recommendations for executive actions.
Client and Business Development
Oversee the creation and organization of all marketing assets, including templates, graphics, images, and collateral materials.
Develop and oversee the implementation of the organization's social media marketing strategy to generate inbound leads, gain followers and create a positive image for the organization. Lead coordination efforts with recruitment to support hiring goals through corporate social media.
Serve as the subject matter expert to develop and manage CRM and marketing automation approaches in collaboration with the Development Program Director and Market Research Manager.
Build and maintain internal and external client relationships, including validation of values, nonprofit focus, and differentiators.
Oversee public relations, press events, and advertising programs.
Provide leadership of corporate identity development and implementation.
In collaboration with externally facing divisions, develop annual calendar of events and conferences. Lead the team involved in managing events and outbound communications via direct mail and email.
Identify, build and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers. Collaborate with CMDO regarding the engagement of advertising, public relations, creative agencies, graphics, or other specialized firms.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
10+ years' experience in similar leadership and director level positions with proven program marketing, program management, and thought leadership outcomes.
10+ years' marketing experience in the IBTS services areas, including creation and organization of marketing assets as well as extensive experience in cultivating and maintaining solid client relationships.
5+ years of marketing creative agency, building product, or architectural/engineering/construction industry experience.
5+ years of experience managing direct reports and creative agency engagements at a leadership level.
Experience in management of a robust lead generation strategy through marketing automation.

IBTS brand awareness is strong in current service areas but quite limited in many potential business areas.
Client-facing divisions operate autonomously in many instances resulting in very low compliance with brand management standards.
Marketing methods, tools, and processes have not kept pace with IBTS' recent growth.
Very broad range of potential audiences from consumers, to public officials to design professionals creates multiple communications channels and messaging expectations.
Low awareness and understanding within IBTS of marketing as a resource to foster growth.
Limited use of CRM and automated marketing tools to support business development.
