And you'll do your life's best work.(sm) The Promotional Marketing Manager will be part of an internal creative team that develops digital and printed collateral to promote employee engagement in fitness and wellness programs for clients where Optum provides on - site fitness and / or wellness services. He or she will oversee a team of graphic designers and copywriters, managing the team's assignments and work queue, with accountability for adherence to client brand guidelines, deadlines, and overall quality of all deliverables. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:Oversee the design, copywriting, and approval process for all client collateral needs Participate in implementation planning / readiness meetings for new clients Provide training and coaching to improve marketing proficiency of on - site staff Support product directors and engagement team projects and collateral needs
Required Qualifications:Experience managing a design team in a corporate or advertising agency environment Ability to work collaboratively with a cross - functional team Advanced computer skills, including Excel and design software (Photoshop, InDesign, PowerPoint) Experience aggregating and reporting data to senior leaders Strong project management / organizational skills Ability to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and visual identity standards Experience working on a virtual team (telecommute)Preferred Qualifications:Experience soliciting approvals from multiple internal departments in a matrixed environment Interest in health care, fitness, wellness, or related fieldCareers with Optum.
