This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain an overview and, over time, an in-depth knowledge of the broad spectrum of sales functions conducted within the fixed income asset management industry. During the course of completing RFPs, the successful candidate will work with the investment, compliance, legal, operations and risk management teams to source information and update responses for our prospects and clients. In addition, the successful candidate will update consultant databases and prepare marketing collateral which includes presentations, product profiles, advertisements and the company's web-site.
The successful candidate will closely interact with senior sales professionals – helping grow assets by assisting with prospect research and consultant relations. This job requires a consistent, high-quality product delivered to the marketplace. Thus, the individual must be a well-organized, self-starter with a high degree of energy capable of collaborating across the firm.
Creation of accurate, compelling and client-focused RFI and RFP responses, which includes interfacing with key internal stakeholders
Maintenance of product profiles and investment process language
Maintenance of consultant databases
Book creation for all prospecting activity
Rigorous adherence to compliance-approved marketing material
BA/BS degree with at least 2-3 years of experience in investment management
Excellent communications skills (written and oral); analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated skill in prioritizing/handling multiple projects simultaneously and completing assigned tasks in a timely fashion
Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com
