The Marketing & Web Administrator’s primary objective is to develop, implement, and maintain web and print marketing content and drive E-Commerce Sales.This position requires compliance with ITAR Regulations. The employee must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident.
Implement and maintain all aspects of the company’s e-commerce web presence, sales, and marketing under the direction of the Sales Manager.
Design and layout of electronic and print materials for all programs and events (flyers, posters, banners, collaterals, logos, invitations, postcards, newsletters, ads, etc.)
Carry design and web projects from concept to completion while adhering to brand standards.
Maintain and enhance websites by adding and improving design and interactive features.
Ensure that coding standards are met; optimizing the web architectures for navigability and accessibility, and ensuring the website and databases are being backed up.
Backup and maintenance of RROI website and sub sites, including all databases.
Assist the Sales Team with all marketing related materials, trip bookings, and tradeshow bookings.
Implement and maintain all current and future internal and external web-based projects as directed by management.
Manage all social media presence platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Yelp, etc.).
Education, Skills, and Experience Required or Desirable:
BS degree in Marketing or equivalent experience
5+ years web design and coding experience
3+ years precision optics e-commerce experience.
Excellent knowledge of common industry applications (i.e., Adobe CS Suite (PC), especially Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator)
Experience working with WordPress
Experience working with Mica Merchant E-Commerce platform desired
Search optimization knowledge
Familiarity with social platforms and popular social media management tools (Hootsuite, etc.)
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Understanding of production, pre-press, print, and web-based technologies
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Physical Requirements: Work is mostly sedentary. Some physical strains, such as data entry and light lifting, is required. The ability to lift 30 pounds may be required, such as setting up and taking down trade show booths.
