The Coordinator of Marketing Operations supports the Advancement Department’s fundraising efforts through coordination of marketing campaigns and operations, and supports all Agency-wide marketing needs.
The schedule for this position is: Monday through Friday 9am-5:30pm,some evenings and weekends required.

Create business processes to improve internal project management efficiencies with the goal of reducing time to implement marketing objectives and increase bottom line.
Support peer-to-peer fundraising programs through general marketing support including, but not limited to:
Coordinate meetings, action item assignment and follow-through, and meeting minutes,
Work with stakeholders to initiate new marketing plans and projects,
Create marketing and advertising plans in coordination with Communications, Digital and Direct Mail teams,
Execute marketing objectives including print collateral ordering, media buying, on-site promotions, and other opportunities as requested,
Coordinate external vendors to insure timely delivery of contracted requirements,
Monitor expense costs and provide regular reports to team members,
Control costs by identifying opportunities to save on expenses,
Close marketing campaigns by compiling end of project reports including financial, tracking, and narrative information submitted by internal and external team members.
Coordinate advertising as requested including designer assignment, material specifications, creative coordination with internal coworkers and external partners, and deadline management.
Manage media buying, creative submission to ad vendors, and reporting across the Agency.
Coordinate ordering, production, and payment for collateral printing requests across the Advancement Department and for other departments as directed by supervisor.
Manage pitch deck and promotional collateral inventory for the Advancement Department. Create custom versions as requested by department co-workers.
Maintain contact lists for radio and TV PSA opportunities, and church bulletins. Manage a promotion calendar for PSAs and execute process to continually promote Mercy Home marketing campaigns. Coordinate with Advancement and other department stakeholders to prioritize messages.
Assist Advancement Department co-workers with external event support, including materials preparation, logistics, in-person event staffing, takedown, and reporting, as approved by supervisor.
Reconcile invoices for media buying with budget holders, vendors, and Finance Department
Assist Communications and Digital teams by maintaining brand guide, logos, fonts, stock images, and asset library. Coordinate requests with Department and Agency co-workers.
Other projects as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business,public relations or similar field and 2-3 years’ of relevant work experience
Previous project management experience required, PMP or CAPM certification preferred
Previous experience coordinating multiple projects in a deadline-focused environment
Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the ability to capture complex marketing concepts and translate them into understandable action plans
Strong conceptual thinker with copy and visual editing abilities
Graphic design skills
Excellent interpersonal and oral presentation skills
Experience organizing budgets and tracking invoices and expenses
Proficiency using Microsoft Excel (including formulas and pivot tables), Adobe Acrobat DC, Photoshop CC, and Illustrator CC
Experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project, Basecamp or Trello
Experience with digital, print, and/or out of home advertising production
Experience with media buying and negotiation is preferred
