The American Society of Appraisers (ASA) is a professional society located in Reston, VA. ASA is seeking a resourceful, confident and experienced Marketing Manager for its fast-paced marketing and communications department who can hit the ground running. Responsibilities of the position are as follows:
Manage e-blast marketing efforts by authoring, designing, reviewing/testing, distributing and tracking of messages.
Manage ASA’s event marketing efforts by providing e-blast, registration and website content support.
Manage ASA’s monthly newsletter by authoring, designing, reviewing/testing, distributing and tracking of issues.
Assist ASA’s discipline marketing efforts by participating in calls and providing follow up support.
Assist other ASA departments and volunteer leadership in ad hoc marketing efforts.
College degree in a related field required.
Five years (5) years marketing or public relations experience.
Proficient with MS Office, emphasis on Word and Excel.
Familiar with Word Press or other related sites, HTML and Adobe applications.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Superior proofreading ability.
Must be detail oriented.
Superior problem solving skills.
Ability to work in a structured team environment.
