University of Florida Health is seeking entry-level marketers who have a passion for health care to join the team. This position, part of the UF Health Marketing team, is responsible for assisting in the implementation of all marketing activities related to primary care at UF Health, including family medicine and internal medicine. This position also leads the marketing efforts for the Department of Medicine that have access potential. In addition, this position will be mentored and coached to assist with projects for various service lines, including cancer, heart and vascular, neuromedicine, pediatrics, surgical services, pediatrics and transplant. The person needs to be an excellent communicator, both verbally and written, with excellent organizational and planning skills who has the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
BS. or B.A. in Marketing or related field, and 1-2 years of marketing experience. Experience in health care strongly preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
Superior spelling, punctuation and grammatical skills.
Proficient in Associated Press style.
Detail-oriented person required.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team toward organizational objectives.
Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
