Marketing and Enrollment Manager is expected to be a content expert in the fields of marketing, retention, recruitment, and enrollment. Responsible for assisting Catholic elementary and high schools in efforts to retain and recruit students. Will assist in creating and executing marketing and advancement plans for schools in the Archdiocese of Newark.
The following specific responsibilities are representative of duties required in this position. They may be unilaterally but reasonably changed based on the working environment and departmental needs.
Train and support principals, marketing professionals, and other staff inside of Catholic schools.
Assist schools in creating and executing marketing and advancement plans for the short-, median-, and long-terms.
Provide training as requested to parent groups, faculties, parishioners, and other key school stakeholders.
Serve as moderator of the Parent Ambassador Program to increase student enrollment by creating a “word of mouth” campaign with current parents to influence their friends, families, neighbor, etc.
Create and deliver content for Archdiocesan Marketing and Enrollment Network (AMEN) webinars and workshops.
Assist in the implementation of a comprehensive public relations strategy to best market Catholic schools education in and around the Archdiocese of Newark.
Create and share regular reports on progress inside of schools.
Attend events as a representative of the Office of Catholic Schools.
Attend OCS staff meetings, leadership days, and other events as necessary.
Extensive travel required to schools across Bergen, Essex, Hudson, and Unions Counties. Car, driver’s license, and insurance required.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree, in Marketing or related specialization, preferred.
Minimum of two years of marketing or advancement/development experience in a school, non-profit, or other professional setting.
