The Office of Catholic Schools is seeking a dynamic individual to fill a key position leading the planning, development, marketing and other related functions of the Catholic Schools. Under the supervision of the Superintendent of Catholic Schools and in accordance with established policies and procedures of the Columbus Diocese, this position coordinates, directs, and monitors functions related to planning, development, and marketing. The position is expected to use personal judgment in carrying out routine duties and responsibilities of the Office.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree required; School Administrator’s License and Master’s degree is preferred. One year related experience is required; Experience in Catholic school and Diocesan administration. Marketing and/or development experience is preferred.
Qualifications/Skills: Flexible work schedule with some travel and some irregular hours required. Ability to communicate effectively both in written format and oral presentation; excellent short and long range planning strategic planning skills; ability to maintain organization, multi-task and establish priorities; exhibits initiative, responsibility and flexibility; strong creativity for developing and implementing new initiatives; high level of integrity and professionalism; excellent interpersonal skills, including listening and the ability to remember information and history; willingness to provide “hands on” work; ability to research issues using expert materials available on the Internet; requires excellent analytical skills and concern for details and must be proficient in MS Office software – Word, Excel, and demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education.
Other Requirements/Information: Job offer is contingent on the successful passing of the mandatory background screening and completion of the VIRTUS “Protecting God's Children” course. Compensation is commensurate with candidate’s education and experience; benefits are according to Diocesan policy.
