As the Product Marketing Specialist in the Petrochemicals business unit you will be responsible for capturing and reporting business KPI's, analyzing sales and market data, and documenting and executing critical pricing and related business activities. You will also support the development of the assigned products through the implementation of new product launches, market intelligence and tactical marketing activities.
You will work effectively in cross functional teams to ensure that any changes or issues related to the product line are overseen through completion as well as work cooperatively with Marketing, Sales, Controlling, Logistics, as well as corporate functions such as Customer Care to ensure optimal positioning and utilization of the assigned product(s) across all market segments.

Formula for Success
Using your understanding of BASF Core Systems and your strong communications skills, facilitate the pricing activities for Customers which includes managing the interface with SAP to update Customer pricing during price increases; handle price discrepancies; and clearly communicate pricing changes to Customer Care .
Based on your drive for efficient and accurate work processes, communicate with Sales to insure accurate price, including effective dates are received and loaded at the right level, with the right conditions in a timely manner to enable efficiency and adeptness in operational pricing process.
With a strong customer focus and business acumen, manage and execute customer rebate programs via collaboration with Sales and Finance Team to ensure accurate and timely accruals and rebate payments to the customer.
Collaborate for achievement and utilize your entrepreneurial drive to support the North America Plasticizers Marketing and Sales Team for implementation of milestones and deliverables within the strategy including new product launches and evaluations, market intelligence and tactical and longer term projects, and tracking of business KPIs.
Based on your solid business and financial accumen, generate and analyze weekly and monthly sales reports to provide updates during various regularly scheduled business meetings, and as required.
Further develop your understanding of BASF Core Systems by testing and implementation of all SAP releases and projects for exports and domestic sales pricing functions.
Collaborate for achievement by monitoring and updating the team's shared mailboxes, North America Plasticizers brochure, website and WorldAccount documentation.
