Develop and direct the annual marketing and promotional campaigns and associated budgets focused on promoting attendance and ticket sales at home athletic sporting events with a primary focus on ice hockey and basketball
Cultivate and fulfill corporate sponsorships that will enhance game presentation and community partnerships
Design effective external marketing and advertising initiatives to increase student attendance.
Serve as the primary point person working with the office of Student Affairs to increase student involvement and participation in athletic events
Develop student promotions, giveaways, in-game contests to increase game day experience
Implement and execute game-night themes to increase revenue and attendance
Coordinate with the Athletic Communications staff to assist with social media strategy and social media platforms to engage students and fans to increase attendance
Establish special events and coordinate game day promotional activities; coordinate community and on-campus events to support ticket, marketing and promotional initiatives. Execute pre/post-game presentations and special events
Manage and supervise full-time employees in the marketing department to include, but not limited to: recruitment, training, monitoring, development, and evaluation of performance
Manage interns, graduate assistants and student workers who will contribute to game day operations, full-year marketing initiatives and all day-to-day activities
Foster a professional culture that emphasizes respect, accuracy, service, collaboration and teamwork
