Develop and implement direct marketing fundraising activities. Plan and direct solicitation programs and initiatives. Identify and develop potential donors from various constituency and affinity groups.
Plan and implement direct marketing programs, including oversight of telefund, direct mail and e-fundraising campaigns.
Collaborate with development staff, administrators, faculty , and colleges and programs to develop direct marketing campaigns that reflect best practices for annual support.
Manage at least one major direct marketing channel, including editing/writing scripts and letters settings schedules, and assessing outcomes.
Determine strategic segmentation of prospect lists for cultivation and solicitation appropriate to the solicitation effort project, and manage vendor relationships and contracts.
Provide operational support in the areas of appeal request management, data collection, pledge,billing, gift, and appeal traking systems.
Document plans, strategies, and procedures and prepare a variety of associated statistical and analytical reports for use internally and externally.
Oversee production of collateral & promotional materials and participate in creative concepts development.
Supervise personnel, including work assignment, training, promotion and applicationon internal procedures.
Provide occasional support at special events, and represent the department through meeting and presentation.

Bachelors and 3 years experience
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
