Under general supervision, reporting to the Associate Director of Alumni Relations and Development for the School of Medicine, the Alumni Engagement and Marketing Manager supports the operations of the Office of Development and Alumni Relations by creating and implementing successful engagement programs and events focused on strengthening relationships with alumni, students and donors. The Manager oversees all marketing initiatives and online communications for the Office of Development and Alumni Relations. The Manager also is responsible, in collaboration with the Associate Director, for managing a strategic, effective, and sustainable annual giving campaign and any other giving programs to meet and exceed the school's fundraising goals each year. This position will operate within the system and procedures of Development to ensure consistent and well-coordinated activities. The Manager demonstrates commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethnically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures and regulations.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and 4 years related experience in an area such as alumni development, fundraising, prospect research, or business development.
Ability to conduct regular day travel and/or overnight travel in SC, NC, and GA. Ability to conduct more extensive travel on occasion. Occasional evenings and/or evening work required, primarily around special events.
