POSITION DETAILSReporting to the Assistant Vice President of Communications and Marketing, the Associate Director of Web Content and Site Development will be responsible for managing all content-related aspects of the College's official website, including "brand consistency." The Associate Director will oversee and ensure the timely creation and publication of relevant content. Based on observed and actively solicited stakeholder requirements, the Associate Director will be responsible for identifying, recommending and project managing the implementation of continuous improvements to the College's website and, as needed, the underlying content management system's ("CMS"), Word Press, features and functionality. The Associate Director will collaborate with technical support team to resolve technical issues. The Associate Director will manage planning, development and updates of web content, such that it remains fresh and relevant; and ensure that web content is optimally organized and presented to foster student success, engage potential qualified applicants, and, generally, maximize desired audience awareness of and support for events, campaigns and various other College initiatives.In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, the duties and responsibilities of the position will include, but are not limited to the following:Utilizes project management best practices for all such technical implementations, ensuring proper project initiation, scoping, execution, measurement, proactive communication, and to help optimize website user experience.Certifies consistency in branding and messaging is maintained by college website properties via the use of approved page templates and style guides.Oversees stakeholder communication, workflows and training on web content management processes and style guides.Ensures that college website pages and content are maintained and updated regularly. Oversees and, as needed, assists with website page creation.Manages analytics tools to track web page and campaign performance.Provides stakeholders with timely updates and performance measures to inform their campaign decisions.
