Pingree School is seeking a creative, proactive, and energetic Senior Content Marketing Associate to join our an award-winning Communications and Marketing team. We are looking for a skilled marketing and communications professional that will serve as the lead digital content administrator of the integrated content strategy. The Senior Content Marketing Associate will be in charge of the day-to-day operations and be a strong advocate of the Pingree brand. The Senior Content Marketing Associate will collaborate across the entire school community to produce a wide range of marketing and communications materials, both online and print. The Senior Content Marketing Associate thrives in entrepreneurial working environments and demonstrates exemplary communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities include:
Content Creation: Write, edit, send, and manage content and communications for the school’s internal and external constituents. Create a content marketing strategy and distribute content for the school’s print and online news channels. Manage an editorial calendar for all school events, such as special events, guest speakers and assemblies. Manage the school’s photography and video assets and keep the visual archive robust and on-brand. Maintain databases and manage email contact lists in databases and content management systems.
Project Management: Manage the School’s integrated content marketing plan and digital marketing plans and campaigns. Maintain the School’s website, Parent E-newsletter, blogs, news and events and relationships with news media outlets. Oversee production of all ongoing creative projects and will work across all departments and school constituencies to support a range of requests. Manage the workflow and processes from project intake, production management. Track results and deliver regular reports on metrics and data analysis with actionable next steps. Work closely with the admission, advancement, academics, student life, information technology to streamline annual communications needs, projects and messaging.
Online and Social Media Strategy: Maintain and produce regular brand-worthy news and strong storytelling moments across digital and social media channels in an integrated, up-to-date, and effective manner. Stay attuned and react to the changing trends in SEO, and user behavior.
Community Involvement: Attend all weekly morning meetings, assemblies, performances and all events that showcase the culture and community values of the school and tell the Pingree story by writing articles, taking photographs, and creating content.
This is a full time staff position reporting to the Director of Communications and Marketing.

Minimum 3-5 years experience in a digital marketing and communications or similar role.
BA/BS in marketing, communications, or related field.
3-5 years experience in online marketing, and achieving revenue budgets preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Mastery of developing and sharing content on major social platforms.
Stays current with new trends, ideas and technologies in the field.
Experience and familiarity with systems such as Veracross, Finalsite, and Blackbaud.
Fluency with Google Analytics or similar tools.
General understanding of web development and design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, etc.
Organized with strong attention to detail.
Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities.
Works well independently and to tight deadlines.
Comfortable with thinking creatively and flexibly.
Must meet professional and behavioral expectations as outlined in our mission statement and core values.
Online marketing agency experience a plus, but not required.
Experience with an independent school a plus, but not required.
Special Work Schedule Requirements:
Occasional travel to professional conferences, evening/weekend work for special projects/deadlines/events. (ie. major school events, commencement, athletics championships, crisis communications, etc)
