Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering required; advanced degree (MBA or Ph.D.) is preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of work experience in new business development, marketing, and/or sales.
Previous sales/marketing experience with global exposure to the chemical industry and customer relationships.
Experience in leading people and teams.
Proven ability to identify business opportunities and develop appropriate strategies and relationships that deliver commercial results within a diverse and challenging business climate.
Demonstrated proficiency to employ superior communication, interpersonal skills, influencing skills, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to interact with key decision-makers at all levels, both customers and internal management, including senior management levels.
Ability to travel at least 20% of the time.
