Centre College’s Norton Center for the Arts, in Danville, Kentucky, seeks a Marketing Coordinator (Digital) to manage the organization’s digital voice across multiple marketing channels. A Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation-designed building, the primary venues include the 1,470-seat proscenium Newlin Hall and 370-seat three-quarter thrust Weisiger Theatre. Primary role is to assist in the marketing and promotion of approximately 20 annual presentations of world-class performing artists. Recent performances include national tours of Rent and Cinderella, Alvin Ailey Dance, Alison Krauss, Dolly Parton, Foreigner, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, and the 2012 Vice Presidential Debate.
Coordinate Norton Center’s digital voice by creating, publishing, and curating content across web, social media, and email channels in support of brand positioning and earned and contributed revenue strategies. Work collaboratively to support performances, marketing events, promotional campaigns, fundraising activities, and special projects. Position calls for excellent writing and communications skills with the ability to tell the Norton Center's story creatively and accurately, as well as experience in developing digital campaigns that yield increased engagement and measurable results.
Essential Job Functions:
Collaborate with the marketing and development team to plan and implement annual digital content calendar.
Create and curate compelling digital content that brings the Norton Center’s mission to life while growing and engaging targeted audiences.
Administer the organization’s website, social media presence, email platform, blog, digital advertising program, and online event ticketing marketing tools.
Produce and coordinate high-quality digital assets, including copy, photographs, videos, audio, graphics, advertisements, and other rich media.
In partnership with in-house graphic designer, use established style guide to maintain a consistent brand identity across all platforms.
Serve as an integral member of the marketing and development team, assisting in the planning and execution of events, campaigns, public relations, fundraising activities, and special projects.
Maintain and analyze reporting tools to track marketing trends, key metrics, ticket sales, and ROI.
Manage and supervise department student workers.
Contribute to the overall success of the department by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or a related field required.
One to three years content development, digital marketing and professional social media experience.
Performing arts, music, live entertainment, or nonprofit experience a plus.
Knowledge and Skills
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with an aptitude towards marketing analytics.
Proactive, resourceful, and able to juggle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Tech savvy with experience in WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, MailChimp, Etix, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, RiseVision, or other similar digital tools and platforms.
At ease with spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, content management systems, and social media.
Passionate about creating compelling content that engages patrons, subscribers, and donors.
Highly creative and energetic, with an eye for detail and comfort in front of or behind the camera.
Have an interest in commerce, the arts, popular culture, and new media trends and techniques.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
Limited pushing, pulling, lifting. Lifting would not exceed 20 lbs.
