Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin, Madison, WI is currently seeking a Marketing Group Service Consultant responsible for maintaining contact and building relationships with the health benefits decision makers of employer groups, unions, local government units, and health insurance agents. The GSC works diligently to increase Health Plan membership as well as foster a spirit of cooperation between GHC-SCW staff and membership to limit misunderstanding and attrition. The incumbent functions with independence and freedom in decision making as authorized within assigned areas.
JOB SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
1.High School graduation or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in marketing, sales, insurance, or health related or communication studies preferred.
2.Minimum of three (3) years of sales/marketing experience required.
3.Ability to obtain and active pursuit of a Wisconsin health/life insurance license required. Possession of a Resident Insurance Intermediary Agent License in Accident & Health and Life with the State of Wisconsin is preferred. Must obtain license within six (6) months of employment.
