INTEG is privately held and supplies automation devices to the commercial cinema market. Our products are centered around the JNIOR controller which was first introduced in 2005. The JNIOR can be found in about 1/3rd of theaters worldwide. It has shipped to over 54 different countries and continues to be a preferred automation device in the industry. Owing to its generic nature a small percentage of JNIOR product has found its way into markets such as Transportation, Energy and others.
We are seeking a growth oriented individual with a DIY ethic willing to step into a small business to devise and implement a marketing strategy to both grow sales in Cinema and broadly introduce product into other markets. The JNIOR is relatively unknown outside of the cinema market where sales have been attributed predominantly to word-of-mouth awareness. It is hoped that through the Internet, social media and modest use of advertisements we can achieve success in new industries supporting the longevity and growth of the company.
The ideal candidate would be technically oriented and perhaps able to both understand our products and assist in the evaluation of solutions addressing customers' needs. This person should be able to personally implement our marketing strategies without dependence on support staff and outside services. This person should feel comfortable leveraging social media by posting on services such as Twitter and participating on forums (such as Film-Tech.com) as well as the creation of videos and podcasts. The coordination of, and travel to, 1 or 2 annual trades shows (such as CinemaCon in Las Vegas) and an occasional customer visit will be required.
Familiarity with the Cinema industry or Industrial Controls would be a huge advantage. However, experience in a potential but untapped market such as HVAC, Audio-Visual or Home Theater could be very helpful.
