Location: OPRF Infant Welfare Society, Oak Park, IL
Hours: 30 – 35 hours per week
Reports to: Executive Director
Position Summary: Responsible for building and managing the organization's brand to drive awareness of the IWS mission and attract and retain patients, donors, members, and volunteers.
Primary Responsibilities & Duties
Develops and executes an integrated marketing plan
Manage website, branding, communication and other related collateral;
Manages conception, design and production of digital and print communication materials (brochures, annual report, posters, event promotions, fundraising appeals), includes vendor management
Develops and maintains marketing budget.
Maintains referral relationships.
Develops and manages documentation of clinic forms, signage and health education materials (In conjunction with the Clinic Director).
Supports the promotion of IWS fundraising events.
Conceive, develops and produces two annual appeals (in conjunction with Development)
Skills & Experience
Proven management and leadership skills.
Three to five years of marketing experience, ideally in the nonprofit sector.
Familiarity with healthcare desirable.
Excellent writing, editing and communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects
Working mastery of Microsoft Office. Design skills working in Adobe InDesign and/or Illustrator a plus.
Familiarity with web content management and communications and social media.
Flexible work schedule, some evenings required.
A bachelor's degree in marketing, integrated communications or a like field is required.
Master's degree preferred.
