Processdocuments necessary to maintain the Client Insurance Program, utilizing agency management system. These duties include but are not limited to:
Create & Update Acord applications, obtain supplemental documents as needed, along with any other required documentation for submissions
Read and analyze loss runs
Prepare or Review Loss Summaries
Prepare Proposals for new business
Update EPIC Coverages/Underwriting Information & Issue Acord Insurance Binders for new business
Initiate Premium Finance Requests
Adhere to document retention guidelines
Analyze and Compare quotes
Function as team member of the Agency to ensure superior service to all GAI Clients. These activities include but are not limited to:
Attend meetings with Commercial Team as appropriate
Attend marketing meetings with carriers as appropriate
Work with producers/CSA’s on new and select renewal submission completion
Work with producers/CSA’s on market strategy for accounts
Work with other marketing personnel on market strategies
Communicate between company, CSA and producer as to the status of the marketing process
Actively maintain and strengthen carrier relationships
Provide a resource to producers/CSA’s on market conditions or market availability
Contribute to a team approach toward meeting goals and providing excellent client service.
Demonstrate cooperation and effective communication with clients, prospects, carriers, vendors and co-workers.
Other duties as requested by members of Management Team
Maintain a professional level of dress, demeanor and behavior.
Demonstrate the technical expertise to assist in the structuring and placement of Client Insurance Programs. These duties include but are not limited to:
Analyze insurance quotes and make recommendations
Communicate and negotiate with insurance carriers
Utilize carrier online rating programs as necessary.
Understand the current insurance market
Stay current on which companies are writing which industry classes
Maintain and develop knowledge of policy forms and endorsements
Design insurance program for client based on defined needs
Identify and address any coverage gaps with producer and carrier
Become subject matter expert and resource in area of interest or technical capability.
Licensed: Indiana P&C Agent, or willing to obtain license within 30 days
Minimum of 5-10 years of middle market Commercial Insurance Experience
Demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Proficient at EPIC, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and current internet technologies.
Demonstrate proactive work style - Does not have to be asked or reminded of tasks.
Ability to learn, analyze and comprehend commercial lines of insurance.
Demonstrate ability to service clients effectively through problem solving, appropriate confidentiality, diplomacy, sensitivity and tactfulness
Willing to work flexible hours due to cyclical nature of business
Ability to travel across our footprint and to applicable carrier events and meetings
