POSITION SUMMARY A key imperative to drive profitable revenue growth and the long term success of Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) is maximizing our industry visibility. This position will refine CCB's existing marketing and communications strategy and develop an execution plan to further promote visibility and digitization. To effectively succeed this candidate will need to work collaboratively in partnership with CCB's Regional and Country Marketing Teams and its Communications Partners. The focus of this candidate will be on effectively creating increased awareness of CCB both externally with clients, prospective clients and prospective employees, as well as internally with employees and partner groups. This candidate will work to instill CCB's strategy, value proposition and product capabilities in a common way across all platforms and content to further maximize visibility, while maintaining the integrity of the Commercial Bank and Citi's brand, and maximize client and employee satisfaction, loyalty and retention for improved business results. This strategic initiative is one of the most critical in further building the Commercial Bank's brand and visibility both outside and inside Citi.
To be effective in this position, the candidate must possess marketing and communications experience in order to effectively evaluate the current state and make recommendations to move the strategy forward. In addition, this candidate must be adept at developing partnerships across a global organization in order to leverage existing resources and create cross functional working groups to implement the strategy.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES This marketing professional will help deliver on a global execution plan to increase awareness of CCB and enable sales. The primary projects and the respective responsibilities for this position are:
Responsible for executing on key initiatives that amplify key global CCB strategy and themes
Works in partnership with global marketing partners to ensure a coordinated effort and alignment of external and internal strategic messaging
Coordinates with the business to develop the key stories that will convey the key messages and strategy, and be the content for both external marketing and internal communications
Assist in the execution of CCB's visibility strategy for external marketing to clients, prospects, industry partners and internal stakeholders
Maintain CCB Credentials to be used in pitch and marketing material
Ongoing and coordinated management of key industry opportunities such as awards, speaking positions and opportunities to amplify CCB externally
Support key business initiatives that promote the CCB business
Minimum of 2+ years communications experience in financial services with marketing and communications experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent project management skills. Highly organized and deadline drive, Able to manage executional details
Possess a proactive and positive attitude
Must have strong communication skills to provide clear, detailed creative direction. Ability to think creatively and use sound judgment when making business decisions
