This marketing and communications partner will focus on developing high-impact, integrative marketing solutions and communications strategies aligned with student success goals in recruitment, fundraising, and community engagement. S/He will provide leadership and strategic counsel, direction and advice to university leadership to ensure goals and objectives are met and measured via plans aligned with the institution’s strategic framework, Success by Design. The individual must be adept in collaborating across campus; as well as leading, managing and coaching individuals as well as large teams. S/He will be experienced in developing and implementing a consistent vision and voice across a highly matrixed organization and in developing digital strategy and engagement plans that drive identified constituent actions.
Primary Responsibilities :
Working with the Vice President University Advancement and the President of the university on all communications and messaging to create one vision and one voice for the university.
Develop brand, marketing and communications strategies and plans specifically focused on lead generation, enrollment, fundraising and alumni and community engagement. Included is the front-door delivery of the web, digital strategy, media relations, internal communications, advertising, social media, licensing, photography, videography, graphic design, writing and specialty printing.
Develop and implement marketing and communications strategy for Success by Design, NKU’s strategic framework.
Serve as a key liaison with university constituents.
Partner with the university’s external licensing partner to continue growth of NKU’s licensing program to generate revenue stream.
Direct market research efforts to evaluate performance and measure ROI on traditional/digital marketing and advertising efforts.
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing or related field. Minimum of six years work experience required. Preference for Master’s Degree and knowledge or skills in learning and communicating complicated subject matters, from higher ed and regulatory issues to business and financial operations.
