As a member of our high-energy marketing & admissions team, the Marketing & Communications Specialist will work to raise awareness of Tufts Gordon Institute and support its ability to attract a community of talented and engaged students. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, the primary responsibilities of the position focus on creative development, lead generation and nurturing, and community engagement. Built upon your deep understanding of the Gordon Institute's mission, strategic goals and programs, you will create compelling written and visual content that engages and informs our diverse constituencies. You will also implement effective marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including the TGI website, social media, email, digital advertising and print. * Use marketing automation software to write, build, and execute email marketing campaigns from lead nurturing to admissions event marketing. * Manage social media channels, including content creation. * Implement and optimize advertising campaigns across key channels, which may include digital, search, print, paid social and radio. * Create written & visual content for both print and digital channels, including the TGI website and social media channels. * Plan and produce short-form video content. * Manage the monthly digital newsletter from story ideation and content creation to targeted distribution. * Contribute to the development of a multi-channel marketing & communications plan that will allow TGI to achieve its strategic enrollment goals.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a marketing and communications role.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, technical or other related discipline.
High level user of the MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel). Demonstrated proficiency in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and others).
Skills and experience with many or all of the following: HubSpot or other inbound marketing software platform; CRM database management systems; Adobe Creative Suite; Google Analytics; video editing software; web content management and HTML.
Experience in higher education marketing and communications.
Experience and passion for technology innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership.
Special Work Schedule Requirements: As some Gordon Institute events and activities take place on weeknights and Saturdays, this position will require some non-standard work hours as needed, primarily during the academic year.
