The Senior Strategic Marketing Specialist inKeck Medicine of USCâs Health System Marketing and Communications department is assigned a set of annual clinical priorities and acts as a lead from the marketing and communications department for those services. This position coordinates marketing planning for those services, implements advertising, direct mail and collateral development and tracks the tacticsâ success. They are main contact to the marketing/communications department for their assigned clinical chairmen and their administrators. They manage an annual marketing/communications budget for their assigned services.
Minimum Education:Bachelorâs degree in marketing, communications or related field required. Masterâs degree in related field preferred Minimum Experience/Knowledge:â¢6 yearsâ of marketing experience is required â¢Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. â¢Demonstrated knowledge and experience with project management, marketing strategy, vendor management, creative services (writing, copy editing, graphic design) and other communication applicationsâ¢Proficiency in Microsoft software and interactive technologies is preferred â¢Demonstrated ability in building/developing relationships, thinking critically and public speaking is requiredâ¢Proven ability to analyze situations, define objectives and develop short- and long-term strategies to fulfill them is necessaryâ¢Skilled in writing and editingâ¢Proven self-starter who earns the respect of others by carefully listen and presenting productive responses and/or results Required License/Certification:Fire and Safety Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
