Utica College, a small comprehensive college in Upstate New York, is seeking applications for an Admissions Marketing Manager in the Office of Advancement. Under the direction of the Vice President for Marketing and Communications and in close collaboration with the Senior Vice President for Student Life and Enrollment, the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management, the Executive Director of Admissions, and the Admissions team, the Admissions Marketing Manager is responsible for persuasively marketing Utica College, its academic programs, and its points of differentiation to prospective students, families, and other key influencers.

Primary responsibilities include:
A.Conceives, coordinates, executes, manages, and evaluates a comprehensive, multi-channeled admissions marketing communications plan that supports the College’s enrollment goals, builds and sustains a prospective student pipeline, and positively shapes the College’s visibility, reputation, and profile within the prospective student marketplace. B. Advances the brand strategy and positioning through creative storytelling that effectively engages prospective students and families throughout each stage of the enrollment cycle. C. As lead writer and editor for all admissions-focused print and digital communications, develops compelling messaging and positioning for new and existing academic programs. D. Assists Vice President for Marketing and Communication with the development, implementation, and management of admission-focused media advertising campaign. E. Works closely with the Director of Creative Services and Director of Design to oversee the development of all admissions-focused print and digital communications. F. Coordinates all in-house and partner/vendor-supported, brand marketing and lead generation campaigns and activities involving student recruitment and admissions. G. Works closely and interacts frequently with school deans, program chairs/directors, Marketing and Communications and Admissions colleagues, and other key internal stakeholders to develop admissions-centered institutional and program-specific messaging, tactics, and strategies. H. Develops processes to measure the effectiveness of marketing communications strategies and uses data to inform improvements. I. Educates and informs internal College community on marketing communications strategy relative to admissions and engages faculty and staff in supporting initiatives. J. Responsible for working with other team members to achieve successful results on all established individual and departmental goals and key performance indicators. K. May perform other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of five years of integrated marketing communications experience, with at least three years of experience in the development and implementation of strategic marketing communications plans, or the equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
