Description Summary: The Senior Director, Marketing for Adcetris will be a key member of the ADCETRIS Franchise Leadership Team accountable for strategic leadership to ensure brand success in current and future indications in the United States, as well as developing and maintaining a high performing team that consistently delivers results. The incumbent will be expected to effectively collaborate with other members of the Commercial Leadership Team and leaders across the company to build and execute marketing strategies, tactics and performance objectives. The Senior Director, Marketing will report to the Franchise Lead - Adcetris, and is expected to be an exceptional marketing leader with proven oncology experience.
Partner with Franchise Lead - Adcetris and relevant cross-functional stakeholders to review and refine product marketing strategy. Establish national marketing plan annually, including performance goals and objectives
Prioritize, develop, and implement promotional and disease education tactics that establish the value of ADCETRIS with HCPs
Oversee the annual brand plan and ensure measurable KPIs are in place and tracked
Manage the agency of record for all promotional and non-promotional tactics
Provide leadership to the brand team members, including coaching, motivating, and professional development
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop overall commercial plan and ensure alignment across functions on the brand strategy
Establish a strong relationship with the sales team to ensure execution
Serve as the commercial representative on the cross-functional Global Product Team
Serve as the commercial representative on the Joint Commercial Committee with our partner company Takeda
Develop and deliver presentations for management, internal and external stakeholders, and senior management
Minimum of 10 years' experience in biotech, pharmaceutical sales or healthcare with a proven record of high performance and consistent results
A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience
Oncology experience, with at least 5 years of marketed brand responsibilities
Experience in at least two of the following roles in addition to marketing: strategic planning, market analytics, market research, business development, sales or sales leadership
Exceptional leadership and people management competencies, including strategic thinking, building and optimizing teams, recruiting great people, as well as developing, coaching and mentoring colleagues and direct reports
Excellence in additional professional competencies including collaborative and cross functional problem solving and communications, innovative thinking, sense of urgency, and a passion for the science of oncology and for helping patients with cancer
Effective presentation and influencing skills up, down and across the organization
Ability to travel for meetings. market research and conferences
