Pacira Pharmaceuticals currently has an opening for a Senior Director, Marketing - Anesthesiology.
The Sr. Director of Marketing is responsible for leading the commercial strategy development and execution specific to the Anesthesiology segment to ensure Pacira is well positioned to successfully achieve overall goals for our flagship product EXPAREL.
Develop marketing strategy and supporting budget for the brand.
Shape and participate fully in the development of the portfolio strategy along with other marketers within Pacira and inclusive of the input received from J&J
Identify new opportunities, set objectives, define strategies and resources needed to achieve financial and strategic goals.
Establish metrics to track progress, identify areas of growth and quantify impact.
Build and implement innovative tools which would include personal and non- personal solutions to enhance customer engagement.
Launch social media campaign designed to heighten awareness of non-opioid pain management and our portfolio
Track and manage budgets, forecasts and assumptions.
Understand key pain management market trends and changes in Hospital care delivery to develop market insights critical to product strategy and communication.
Monitor/evaluate competitive products.
Collaborate on market research activities.
Lead efforts to assess and optimize the marketing mix and resource allocation across teams and identify potential synergies and savings.
Manage and cultivate key KOL relationships.
Manage vendors to ensure execution of strategy and business objectives ?
Bachelor degree from accredited college or university, MBA preferred.
Minimum 10 years’ experience progressive responsibility in marketing for hospital pharmaceutical or medical device.
Minimum 5 years of in line brand management experience in pharmaceutical or medical device marketing.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales or closely related customer facing role.
Experience in successfully leveraging digital and social media campaigns
Proven ability to lead others, drive execution, and build alignment within teams and across functional areas.
Demonstrated strong analytical skills.
Strong project and process management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines.
Proven track record of measurable success in developing and executing marketing plans in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
Demonstrate ability to work effectively in complex, rapidly changing environment.
Excellent oral and written English communications skills.
Excellent platform skills; ability to deliver complex, clinical information to diverse populations.
Proven team player with ability to navigate and collaborate cross functionally; able to influence those over whom there is no immediate supervisory capacity to achieve objectives.
Solid financial and business acumen; analytical mindset.
Ability to travel approximately 40%.
