Essential Functions:
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for management of consumer, referring physician and patient education marketing efforts across all platforms including but not limited to traditional media, digital and social. This position serves as a project manager for the execution of marketing plans across the entire marketing, communications and physician outreach team. Serves as marketing liaison to Siteman Cancer Center satellite facilities. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions): 1. | Plans, develops, refines, implements and measures targeted marketing initiatives for internal and external delivery such as, but not limited to, disease types, promotional events, publications, event publicity, recruitment, and advertising campaigns; researches relevant issues, solicits input from appropriate sources, conducts analyses, and proposes for implementation various solutions and initiatives designed to achieve targeted marketing objectives and goals (can be external or across university campuses) | | 2. | Develops, writes, and produces final product communications and advertisements for internal and external delivery to various departments and/or external segments; develops effective procedures for defining and tracking established and potential markets; coordinates the development and administration of tracking systems; tracks impact to measure and modify | | 3. | Works closely with the digital marketing team to brainstorm and develop digital strategies and techniques that will bolster integrated marketing plans. These strategies may include, but are not limited to, social media marketing, search engine visibility, digital display advertising and various forms for web content. This work will be vetted and approved by the associate director of digital marketing and communications. | | 4. | Delivers communications and presentations as well as provides training/teaching to various groups and departments ensuring a consistent, effective message, including best approach for communicating message, including research findings. | | 5. | Serves as a liaison between Siteman Cancer Center (SCC) Marketing, Communications and Physician Outreach team and the five (SCC) satellite locations; runs quarterly SCC marketing meetings, communicates regularly with satellite marketing managers, and coordinates efforts regarding prevention education, screenings, community events, marketing campaigns, etc. | |
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field; 3-plus years of marketing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree preferred; experience in leading communication projects from start to finish preferred.
- Demonstrated effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; experience with various electronic and print media delivery; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools; ability to provide front end web development for content and approach.
Salary Range:
The hiring range for this position is $51,293 - $66,685 annually.
