The Associate Director, Innovation & Partnerships will be part of building bold strategy not just for Novartis, but for the industry and will engage with all levels of the organization, identifying areas of opportunity, and motivate change. The Associate Director will lead the development and execution of key marketing initiatives that will have a long lasting impact in cardiovascular health and the Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolism (CRM) franchise performance.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: * Develops a vision and pipeline for 'beyond the pill' solutions to build a best in class experience for our customers, in line with our strategic imperatives * Leads cross functional and agency teams in strategic and tactical planning against business objectives and ensures executional excellence on all projects * Tasked with standing up solutions that 'meet patients where they are' including possible direct delivery of medication to patients through a variety of pathways * Will stand up new digital capabilities designed to service patient's 'beyond the pill' needs to achieve LDL-C goals * Proposes solutions to deliver 'frictionless' experiences for all customers * Works closely with marketing peers to ensure that solutions are fully integrated into existing marketing and promotional plans * Partners with Insights and Analytics to mine data to uncover new opportunities and turns data into insights that become actionable projects * Oversees SPM who collaborates with agency partners in the development of campaign, messaging, tactics and promotional materials * Collaborates with key cross-functional partners to ensure aligned brand execution; Liaise closely with Legal, Regulatory and Compliance to ensure new projects can be executed successfully and compliantly * Stays abreast of best in class work from other industries, tracks competitive innovation and the development of competitive readiness plans for the brand * Manages Innovation budget; Is responsible for developing program KPIs, tracking programs against KPIs, and making budget/ investment optimization recommendations accordingly.
