The Regional Breast Marketer (RBM) is a commercial field-based member of the Solid Tumor franchise. The RBM is responsible for engaging Breast Cancer Medical Experts and for sharing brand strategy and gaining expert insights in an effort to improve brand strategy for the brand team. The role would also include identifying developing and pulling through marketing resources for the specific geography in which the regional marketer is assigned. The open geography includes (MI, IN, KY, OH, West PA, VA, WV, MD, D.C) but the role also has some National travel required to fulfill the function. This person works closely with Brand team colleagues as well as with Sales, Training, Value and Access and other key stakeholders. The RBM would support the Brand team on marketing projects requiring involvement from Medical Experts and would be fully accountable for identified marketing projects.

The Breast Cancer space is one of strategic importance to Novartis and is very competitive. Given the evolving landscape, building and maintaining appropriate relationships with MEs is a critical success factor for Novartis to become the recognized leader in Breast Cancer. In order to execute our ME engagement strategy with adequate breadth and depth, it is essential to have field-based headcount that are dedicated to ME engagement. This individual will frequently engage with Breast Cancer Medical Experts across the country, be comfortable discussing and presenting complex data, gather insights and appropriately change Medical Expert sentiment.
*Work with Brand, Sales Leadership, Strategy & Business Development, Value and Access as well as Medical to identify target Breast Cancer Medical Experts *Engage Breast Cancer Medical Experts virtually, in-office and at local, regional and national conferences and conventions *Plan and track Medical Expert engagements across the commercial organization *Act as a primary point of contact for Medical Experts with the commercial side of the Novartis organization *Share Medical Expert insights with all relevant internal teams to support their development of ac-count-specific strategies *Maintain a thorough understanding of brand strategy and key business drivers *Attend local, regional and national medical meetings where breast content is being presented *Support the Brand team on marketing projects involving input from Medical Experts *Support the Brand team on any newly identified compliant peer to peer initiatives in accordance with policy *Lead identified marketing projects *Participate in special projects and perform other duties, as requested
