DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR, STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS MARKETING , Alumni Association (MITAA)-Strategic Communications and Marketing (SCM) , to play an essential role in the MITAA's digital communications and marketing strategy. Will focus largely on managing the day-to-day email and web programs. Responsibilities will include assisting with email segmentation strategies, managing email deployment, analyzing campaign performance across digital channels, and web and social media campaign support. The work will involve collaborating closely with colleagues in SCM, the MIT Alumni Association, and across campus to create focused communications and a marketing strategy that advances the MITAA and MIT toward its goals of engaging its community of alumni and friends.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : bachelor's degree in related field; at least two years of digital communications and marketing experience; experience creating and implementing professional digital marketing campaigns, including participating in the development and execution of web and email strategy, crafting or editing content, and personally completing all technical elements of the process; strong planning, customer service, project management, analytical, problem-solving, time-management, decision-making, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills; meticulous attention to detail; flexibility; ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines without compromising quality in a demanding, high-volume work environment; experience with social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn; experience with Photoshop and other Adobe products, HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms like Drupal; and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment and work independently and collaboratively as a team member who is willing to lend a hand at all times. PREFERRED : experience with brand social accounts, community management, and digital advertising; and experience with email clients, e.g., iModules, IBM Watson (formerly Silver Pop), and ConstantContact. This position will be hybrid, with a combination of on-campus and remote work.
