Sales and Marketing Manager Bed Wood and Parts, LLC — Hopkinsville, KY 42240
We are searching for a Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our B2B and B2C advertising and selling efforts. The successful candidate will have sales, marketing, and leadership experience in the automotive aftermarket with a proven history of driving positive change in these areas of their organization and will contribute to Bed Wood’s success by developing new sales channels and customers in the restoration, classic, and late model truck segment of the automotive aftermarket. The Sales and Marketing Manager's responsibilities include day-to-day sales and supervisory activities, generating unique sales plans, creating engaging advertisements, emails, and promotional literature, developing pricing strategies, working with 3rd party advertising firms, and meeting marketing and sales human resource objectives. The Sales and Marketing Manager represents our brand and drives strategies to increase product awareness by observing the market, competitors, and industry trends.
Sales and Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
Promoting Bed Wood's existing brands and introducing new products to the market via phone, in-person, and digital selling activities.
Analyzing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that the sales team meets their quotas and goals.
Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans via print, social media, and other means, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals.
Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends to provide reports to our Leadership Team.
Developing and leveraging new sales channels, customers, and opportunities.
Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing our sales and marketing team to meet sales and marketing human resource objectives.
Maintaining and developing relationships with important clients by maintaining constant contact, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
Staying current in the industry by attending consumer and trade events – car shows and conventions, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks.
Work with and manage 3rd party partners and resources such as advertising firms, suppliers, web forums, etc.
Sales and Marketing Manager Requirements:
A degree in marketing, mathematics, business administration, or related field.
3+ years’ experience in sales and marketing in the automotive aftermarket
