What you will do:
Collaborate with Stryker's Neurosurgical internal stakeholders to produce and execute creative graphic solutions that results in visually appealing communications. Design communications focused on the division's strategic priorities while supporting multiple stakeholders within the division.
Collaborate within the team and across functions to execute and produce creative graphic solutions
Generate and update content for existing internal communication vehicles, to include newsletters, videos, sales meetings materials, brand communications, and others as appropriate
Ensure communication is consistent and reflects the brand standards, mission, values, culture, and strategic priorities of the organization
Ensure that design is consistent with the company's corporate brand guidelines
Serve as the division brand representative, coordinating between internal functions and businesses and Stryker's brand office
Work with internal stakeholders on brand communications, design projects, sales meetings, digital/social, and event materials
Work with various functions to develop visually appealing communications
Implement new communications vehicles and establish process for ongoing content generation
Serve as an advisor to internal functions on communication design best practices
Identify and prioritize communications projects to ensure efficient use of resources
Proactively communicate project status and issues to stakeholders as appropriate
Understands the principles of design, layout, and color theory, and applies them to develop creative concepts
Respond to routine inquiries for information
Stay abreast of company developments and trends
Oversee agencies or contractors for print and other projects
Collaborates in developing key strategy documents: strategic plan, annual marketing plan, product launch plans, etc.
Provides metrics and updates back to the larger group on applicable individual segments of the process.
What you need:
Bachelor's degree preferred
4+ years design or communications experience or equivalent
Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
Must be a creative thinker with strong knowledge of layout and graphic design principles
Demonstrates ability to condense, organize and convey complex information in a logical, visually pleasing and user-friendly manner that is appealing to broad range of audiences
Can translate raw content, data and stories into compelling written and visual communications, including presentations, infographics and storyboards
Demonstrated proficiency in PowerPoint design, Publisher, MS Word, and Adobe Creative suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Knowledge of MailChimp, SharePoint and digital signage platforms are desirable
Knowledge of processes used by print vendors a plus
Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously under tight timelines and in a fast-paced environment
