Veritas Association Management is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to manage the marketing activities and communications for designated Veritas clients. This individual is responsible for developing content and coordinating the execution of email marketing, social media marketing, graphic design, advertisements, and publication development.
The ideal candidate for this role possesses strong project management, information organization, and copywriting skills.
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator collaborates closely with other members of the Veritas marketing team to ensure that messaging and content is consistent across all marketing channels including websites, marketing emails, social media, advertisements, and print collateral.
This position reports to the Client Executive Director.
Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate communications to members, event attendees, and stakeholders
Create and implement an overall marketing calendar
Develop and coordinate the execution of marketing plans for society events, initiatives, products, and services.
Coordinate and develop content for the following:
Journal and publication advertisements
Digital Community Updates
Manage submission of advertisements in journals and publications.
Coordinate marketing collaborations with partner societies and organizations.
Participate in staff, leadership, and committee meetings as needed.
Provide administrative support to Digital Media Committee and Newsletter Committee.
Produce regular performance reports on marketing activities using relevant KPIs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study (Marketing, Communications, Advertising, etc.)
2-3 years experience strategic marketing role.
Strong copywriting and proofreading skills
Expert knowledge of email, social media, advertising, and digital marketing best practices
Proven multi-tasking ability and strong project management skills
Must be willing to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Agency, association, and/or medical industry experience is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, salaried position. Standard working hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM CT, with occasional nights and weekends as needed for event operations.
