Westerly Financial Partners has an immediate opening in our lakeside office in the South Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle for an awesome human to support three advisors and one practice manager/paraplanner serving 300 clients with a strong focus on comprehensive financial planning and highly personalized advice and service. We are seeking a team member who is detail oriented and has exceptional interpersonal, communication, and client service skills. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the financial services industry with options for mentoring and advancement as we add 1-3 advisors and additional staff within the next 1-3 years. As we transition back to working in the office there will be some flexibility to work remotely one to two days per week after training is completed. Our preference is for someone already holding state and federal securities licenses, as well as Washington State insurance licensing, but we will consider a well-qualified candidate who is willing to study for and pass needed exams within 6 months of hire. Greet clients and create a welcoming environment. (Only fully vaccinated clients and staff are invited into our office).
Communicate with clients via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams to schedule meetings, collect client data, obtain signatures on forms, and resolve client concerns.
Prepare and verify that forms, applications, documents, and other written materials are accurate, complete, and correctly submitted for processing, then track to successful completion.
Handle and process checks, forms and requests received by the practice.
Complete securities trades when licensed to do so.
Manage client files and paperless office systems.
Update client data in Salesforce CRM contact management platform.
Assist in coordination of seminars, client appreciation events, and office outings.
Maintain Marketing on Demand marketing system (automated newsletters) for advisors.
Manage social media for advisors, including updating advisor websites, Facebook pages, and LinkedIn profiles using centralized GoSocial platform.
Manage office supply inventory and order stationery as needed.
Prepare and mail client birthday cards and other communications.
Ability to consistently represent practice and self in professional and polished manner.

Ability to juggle tasks for more than one advisor
Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
Full coronavirus vaccination and boosters as advised by CDC. Masking in office when preferred by visiting clients.
Required Experience & Training
College degree or 3+ years' experience working in client service environment (financial services background preferred).
Strong PC and software skills including MS Office: Outlook Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and contact management systems.
State and federal securities and insurance licensing, or willingness and ability to obtain within 6 months.
$50,000 - $70,000 per year depending upon experience, skills, and licensing status
