The Marketing Designer will be based in Hong Kong and be a part of the Fitch Ratings' global Marketing organization. Fitch Ratings' Marketing organization is responsible for planning and executing fully-integrated marketing strategies and creating brand differentiation in support of Fitch Ratings' global businesses. The team works closely with stakeholders to understand their business objectives in order to plan and execute go-to-market programs, while deploying the appropriate marketing mix. The team covers multiple marketing disciplines, including but not limited to, content and product marketing, marketing analytics, event strategy, advertising and branding, as well as marketing operations.
Fitch Ratings is looking for a designer to join our in-house creative team creating engaging design solutions from concept to completion in support of our global marketing efforts.
Working with the Regional Head of Marketing for Asia Pacific and Director of Creative and Design, this role will support marketing initiatives across Fitch Ratings' four key business sectors: Corporate Finance, Structured Finance, Global Public Finance, and Financial Institutions. Specific responsibilities include:
Develop and execute concepts across digital and print disciplines
Create engaging content and artwork in various social media platforms (including but not limited to WeChat, Weibo, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook), online and digital platform to drive performance
Perform tasks assigned including digital interactive and print ads, collateral material (brochures, one-pagers, white papers) event communications/materials, webinar graphics, social media assets, e-newsletters, data visualization / infographics, PPT presentations, video and web graphics.
Work on a multitude of different design projects with aggressive timelines while adhering to our brand guidelines
Work with Fitch Group marketing team (digital media, video, email campaigns, social media, etc.) for promotion and ad-hoc tasks on creative
Involve in simple photography, retouching and editing for marketing
Have approximately 3-5 years of relevant work experience
Have relevant experience in print, with a strong digital background and track record of success in a corporate design role.
Have experience in creating WeChat H5 pages
Extensive project management experience moving projects from concept to completion and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Professional experience with proven responsibility preferably in B-to-B.
High Diploma/ Bachelor's degree or related experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
Knowledge of Mac and PC platforms.
Highly proficient in all Adobe CC Suite - (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Media Encoder), MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Jira and Infogram.
Good knowledge in Adobe After Effects or similar vector graphics application.
Understanding of Adobe Premiere or video editing software is a plus.
Knowledge in HTML5 and CSS is an advantage
Fluent in both business English and Chinese (spoken and written)
Strong skills and sense of typography, hierarchy, and visual composition and adhering to brand guidelines.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail (design, proofreading).
Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and independently, observing tight deadlines and be able to juggle a variety of deliverables
Have the ability to work on a multitude of different design projects with aggressive timelines while adhering to our brand guidelines.
Positive and professional attitude, good problem-solving skills and strategic thinking across many design disciplines.
A creative mind, and not afraid to explore new format and have the expertise to achieve it.
