The National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) is seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy, and results-oriented individual to join our team as the Marketing & Communications Coordinator. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator reports directly to the Director, Membership and Marketing, and will interface with all levels of the organization and external relationships. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will assist in planning, developing, and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns to maximize growth, broaden the audience of customers, and increase customer loyalty to NAGC. The position covers four major areas:
Marketing & Communications: Support efforts to collaborate with NAGC staff to determine communication/marketing assist with developing and implementing marketing and communication campaigns, detailed action plans, and compelling products. Coordinate the design of videos, graphic elements, brochures, fact sheets, logos, or other promotional products.
Membership: Assist in management specific recruitment and retention efforts as assigned. Coordinate administrative support for member renewals, onboarding and recruitment campaigns as needed throughout the year.
Website: Manage varied website content and updates and support staff in implementation of coordinated content messages for NAGC website. Assists with Social Media promotional efforts.
Exhibits proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite.
Familiar with email marketing platforms like Constant Contact.
Working knowledge of HTML.
Familiarity with APA editorial style.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and verbal and written communications required.
Excellent writing skills required.
Excellent project management and organization skills; ability to prioritize large volumes of projects and effectively see them through to conclusion required.
Ability to create communication opportunities.
Knowledge/experience in marketing strategies and concepts preferred.
Proven ability to work independently.
Excellent customer service skills essential and sales skills preferred.
