The Marketing Director is responsible for the development, adaptation, and implementation of the US commercial strategy for Sandoz generic injectable products. Accountable for optimization of sales, market share, revenue growth and profitability in both the short and long term.
* Leads the development and execution of effective strategic and tactical commercial plans, and manages day-to-day operations for the in-line generic injectable portfolio * Manages and controls the performance for the assigned business, and proactively proposes actions to utilize new opportunities or corrective actions to optimize business performance * Develops strategies to mitigate or build upon competitor offerings; develops value proposition based on insights to support pricing and market access strategy across customer groups * Develops a comprehensive set of sales forecast scenarios plus sensitivity analyses, and implements demand plan for the in-line generic injectable port-folio * Collaborates with key partners on new product launch readiness and execution. Leads development and execution of commercial launch strategies including pricing and customer offers along with sales team to ensure prioritization and successful launch of products. * Leverage's customer insights and emerging needs to create innovative business opportunities; develops and leverages relationships with leadership of strategic customers to achieve business results. * Identifies opportunities for life cycle management and portfolio enhancement, and collaborates with key partners to prioritize and execute actions to build the generic injectable portfolio * Acts as the generic injectable business champion to create focus, alignment, and enthusiasm both internally and with external customers and partners * Establishes a close cooperation and alignment with other functions such as Sales, Pricing, Launch Management, etc. in the development and implementation of business strategies and tactics. In the process, proactively looks for franchise synergies between Sandoz Business Units.
This position can be based remotely anywhere in the U.S. (there may be some exceptions based on legal entity registration). Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager. This position will require 25% travel.
