The Stanford MBA Admissions office strives each year to attract, recruit, select, and enroll the most promising MBA students from around the world and from every background.
In this role, you will help to enable our mission by disseminating information; engaging prospects, applicants, and admitted students; and building community through a variety of channels (e.g., web, newsletter, email, video, social media, etc.). Under the guidance of the MBA Admissions Director of Marketing, you will develop, manage and execute strategic marketing plans. You will create and manage an integrated communication strategy which leverages the brand strategy. And you will build strong partnerships with other school managers and departments, as well as liaise with students, alumni, and faculty.
With a focus on continuous improvement, you will also have an eye on market research, trends and internal analytics to refine our marketing and communications initiatives.
In addition to your marketing responsibilities you may have other general admissions duties, including, but not limited to, presenting the MBA program to prospective MBA candidates, evaluating applications, and welcoming newly admitted students.
Your primary responsibilities include:
Help develop MBA brand strategy and strategic marketing plan.
Create and manage an integrated communication strategy across various channels
Manage key vendor relationships.
Develop content directly and/or partner with students, alumni, faculty, and other departments to generate assets.
Conduct market research, including competitive benchmarking and analyzing campaign effectiveness to inform strategic decisions and customer targeting.
Other general admissions duties related to attracting, selecting, and enrolling MBA class.
To be successful in this position, you will bring:
Bachelor's degree and eight years relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated experience in integrated marketing strategy and execution across channels.
Ability to use market research and data analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leaders.
In addition, preferred requirements include:
Advanced degree; MBA is preferred.
Familiarity with Drupal, Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics and/or SLATE
Strong attention to detail
