Assistant Director of Marketing for Special Populations will gather, write and proofread copy for recruitment print publications, emails, letters and websites for the Academic Services & Enrollment Management (ASEM) division. This position will have special emphasis on the marketing of special populations such as multicultural, first generation, international, transfer recruitment and the Nebraska College Preparatory Academy. Coordinate project management of ASEM projects including print, video, photography, social media, and web. Assistant Director will coordinate projects from conception to completion and ensure projects are complete on time and within budget. Work closely with ASEM staff to execute marketing tactics that that support ASEM initiatives. Serve as a liaison between the Marketing team and staff in University Communications, Printing Services, off-campus promotional vendors and UNL academic college recruitment staff. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Marketing.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, advertising or related field plus 2 years of experience in marketing, public relations, advertising sales, and/or recruitment experience required. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication and organizational skills necessary. Copywriting and promotional writing skills essential. Experience with Microsoft Office required. Must have experience managing multiple projects.
Two years of advertising/marketing agency or in-house corporate experience preferred. Experience with youth and/or non-traditional student marketing desirable. Experience marketing through social media helpful. Prefer experience with a minority, international, or first generation students. Knowledge of student recruitment in higher education preferred. Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management desirable.
