As an integral part of the Service Line marketing team, the Marketing Specialist II is a system level role reporting to the Manager, Marketing. The Marketing Specialist II is responsible for providing strategic marketing council for "tier 1 & 2" priority care/service lines (assigned to them), in addition to being the primary marketing lead for assigned marketing plans. The Marketing Specialist II's primary responsibility is developing and successfully launching integrated marketing campaigns in an accelerated timeline. The Marketing Specialist II is responsible for meeting with the service line leadership and business development teams to ensure the strategic direction and product line development is woven throughout the plan and will ensure that all marketing mix recommendations support these business development goals.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
Serves as the senior account contact, supporting the Service Line marketing leaders to develop and execute strategic, integrated marketing plans to increase patient enrollment, volume and revenue of hospital and medical group service lines.
Works with Digital, Business Development and Communications/PR teams as needed to ensure service line marketing plans are fully executed and results are gathered and tracked.
Oversees assigned campaign budget, giving strategic and creative direction on design of marketing collateral to our ad agency, and writing web content to support the Service Line marketing team.
Assists Service Line leads to develop and implement the monthly account planning and activities.
Builds a strong partnership with key internal stakeholders by fostering the "Simply Better" approach and responding timely.
Independently plans events - coordination of planning grid, recommends communications/promotion strategy, staffs on-site and off-site events on weekdays & weekends
Works directly with Communication/PR team to ensure media, messaging and timing supports marketing plan.
Supports Digital team to ensure strong, cohesive user experience with all digital touchpoints for service line campaigns.
