What you will do-
You will drive category management activities within the Marketing category but not limited to this category. You will beresponsible for identifying,leadingand implementing cost improvement activities, sourcing and supplier selection, negotiations, and contract creation and maintenance. You will partner with product divisions to review spending, and identify significant cost savings opportunities.
Lead/support sourcing activities for assigned projects/commodities (e.g.Ad Agency, Public Relations, Market Intelligence) including activities such as:
Data collection and spend analysis
The RFx process (also known as go-to-market)
Implementation and continuous improvement
Drive category management activities within the Marketing spend through activities such as:
Partnering with Corporate and Divisional marketing leads to understand current unmet needs
Conducting annual voice of marketing research on vendor engagement
Conducting annual voice of vendor research on vendor engagement
Identifying key trends, and areas of opportunity to drive process efficiency across Stryker with through vendor engagement
Conducting annual business reviews with key marketing vendors within the organization
Develop and drive spend leverage strategies, including policies, and driving best practice sharing and development
Drive supplier management/development activities to ensure continuous cost/service improvement
Lead/support ad-hoc projects as required
What you need-
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering,Finance,or other relevant area of study,required
