This role in the Marketing and Strategy unit of DCE is responsible for creating reports on the team's marketing effectiveness from a variety of data sources and providing actionable insights and analyses to guide changes in marketing strategy and tactics to drive business results.
The Division of Continuing Education (DCE) is seeking a data-driven Marketing Insights Analyst to join our growing organization. This role will focus on providing marketing and business insights through data, analysis and reporting that will support decisions made by marketing and the leadership teams within DCE. The Marketing Analyst will build, manage and maintain technical reporting systems required to help measure marketing effectiveness and inform strategic decision making. Additionally, this role will work with multiple stakeholders to standardize and align definitions of key metrics, resolve any existing discrepancies and set standard definitions across cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze and report insights and trends that inform our marketing investments and performance, working closely with the Director of Marketing Services and the brand Marketing Directors for the Division of Continuing Education, as well as other directors and key partners.
Develop and manage the analytics infrastructure across the department and the technology teams to create systematic reporting using a variety of sources including Salesforce, Google Analytics, and integration of different student and enrollment data systems.
Establish documented processes related to data gathering and develop ongoing recommendations for improvements.
Develop regular reporting to monitor overall performance and performance of different marketing campaigns and tactics. Additionally, develop reporting to help determine attribution of marketing activities and campaigns across the marketing funnel.
Own the implementation of the required tracking codes across a variety of platforms-including but not limited to Salesforce, Wordpress, DCE's online registration platforms, lead gen forms, digital advertising, and student registration databases-to ensure attribution data is being collected correctly.
Serve as an agile analytical partner to the marketing team to provide routine and ad hoc analysis related to all marketing activities
Collaborate with DCE Management Information Systems Data Analysis team to ensure consistency and sharing of best practices across the division.
Work closely with digital advertising agency and other strategic enrollment and acquisition partners to develop integrated metrics and reporting, ensuring consistencies across analytics, tracking methods and interpretation.

3+ years' of marketing experience
Expert knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Excel, and Salesforce
Experience in business and marketing reporting and analysis
Strong analytical capabilities
Organized and detail-oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with marketing research, marketing automation platforms (particularly Hubspot) preferred
Must be a confident team player who enjoys collaboration
Understanding of data and tracking between multiple platforms in higher education preferred
